About
Dr. Marsh
Having a wide range of emotion is both a gift and a necessity. Yet for many, emotional experiences can feel overwhelming. When painful thoughts, high levels of anxiety, depression or numbness, and unhealthy patterns and self-defeating behaviors are present, psychotherapy can help.
I have practiced psychology within the Olympia community since 2013, working primarily with adolescents and young adults. Before moving to Olympia, I earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and completed a clinical internship and residency at a hospital for children and adolescents in New Kent, Virginia. I am a member of the Washington State Psychological Association and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
I have an excellent track record helping those who have had unsuccessful experiences with previous treatment, and those who find it difficult to "open up."
I look forward to helping you or your teen learn to increase emotional stability, challenge and clarify negative thoughts, and grow resilient in the face of challenge.
I am licensed in Washington state, license number PY 60342353.
